Chats about tech & life – Paying it forward, helping others, often for free.
Nearing retirement, we are passionate about training & sharing our tech know-how. We organised real-world meetups for several years, with our last group attracting over 1,000 members. Unfortunately, we had to close due to the lockdowns. Now, in August 2024, we are excited to relaunch these meetups—this time online! Our focus will be on supporting the natural and holistic health sector by discussing technology that can help grow the community.
Whether it’s just one person or a group arriving is fine with me. I’m not limiting the topics discussed either. General tech support questions are welcomed, including issues you may be experiencing with your business software, online problems, Wi-Fi, 5G concerns, health, censorship, life, etc…
Like real-life community gatherings, we let you just show up. No login, registration, or emails. Arrive at 8 PM, enter a first name, and allow your browser to access your camera and mic. We’ll use the same link every Sunday night, so feel free to bookmark it now and return later.
We do not use Zoom for these meetups; instead, we utilise open source software, which is more flexible, private and secure. Unlike most others, it does not require you to register or log in, or even use an app. Simply join at the appointed time using the same meetup link each week, to be admitted, anonymously if you prefer. Just remember that on the first visit, to allow your browser to use the camera and microphone.
